Inspection of automatically inflatable life jacket: excluding parts. Life jackets must be inspected in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer (ES-TRIN article 13.08, paragraph 3).

Many CO2 cartridges can be fitted to various jackets. Because a life jacket is a matter of life and death, we cannot give you the guarantee if you do not buy the gas cartridges of the relevant make.

Baby's and children's life jackets must always be tested in practice, because weight is not the only determining factor. Automatically inflatable by means of a CO2 cartridge that is activated by a water-soluble tablet, or by using the pull cord.
